March 7, 2009 marks the completion of another successful year for the RSM Richter Real World
Challenge. Teams from McMaster, Queen's, U of Toronto, Western and York were invited to participate.
The Challenge case competition began after a welcome breakfast. Teams were asked to prepare a recommendation for a client wishing to purchase a new business. The case was challenging but throughout the day they were assisted by Richter mentors. The team's recommendation was finally presented to a panel of Richter judges and the winning team announced during the afternoon reception.
Congratulations to the winning team from Queen's University who took home $1,000 for each member of their team, and an additional $1,000 for their school accounting society. A second place prize was awarded to the McMaster Team.
